Ressu Upper Secondary

Ressu is a prestigious upper secondary school located in the centre of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Ressu is noted for high-quality education appropriate for higher education. Founded in 1891, Helsingin Suomalainen Realilyseo is one of the oldest secondary schools operating in Finnish. School leavers have traditionally gone on to every possible institution of higher education. The historic school building (1892) has modern study facilities.
Ressu is known as a pioneer in numerous educational projects to develop the teaching profession, its international character and its student-friendly atmosphere. Ressu's active student body is widely known around the country.
A student at Ressu Upper Secondary school has great freedom of choice as there are more than 270 different courses offered annually. He or she has the freedom to specialise in any branch of study, whether it be mathematics and natural science, humanities, arts or music. Ressu offers the opportunity to study thirteen languages in all. Students can qualify for a driver's licence at Ressu's own driving school.
