The Objectives of the Project

to gain experience of creating and maintaining a multi-lateral, international network for co-operation
to increase internationalization and develop education for international understanding (world studies)
to develop learning environments which are based on contemporary views on learning and to facilitate the evaluation of these environments
to study the application of new technology, especially the Internet, to creating new learning environments
to increase knowledge of Finland and Finnish culture in China and knowledge of China and Chinese culture in Finland
to encourage both students and teachers to become familiar with Chinese culture and to stimulate them to acquirie an insight into Chinese language, Chinese culture and conditions in China
to promote studies in issues connected to the UNESCO World Heritage project in Finnish secondary schools
to develop skills in analyzing worldwide humane problems and aspirations, particularly sustainable development, through Finnish-Chinese dialogue
